WE understand the importance of tradition and for others their heritage when it comes to any outdoor pursuit specifcally hunting. Whether a trapper, hunter or simple outdoorsman we need to recognize the current situation. Despite what others will say, hunters are the front line stewards of the land and the things that live on it.  Our connection to mother nature and the things that she provides us to bring into our kitchen is crucial.

Hunting has become a very controversial topic, the push-back from non-hunters, anti-firearms groups and anti-hunting organizations is at an all time high. Their intent to create a stigma and barbarianize the hunting community has never been stronger than what it is now.

Which is why we at HBSD feel it's so important to educate and promote why we do what we do. One of our goals is to find new hunters and hunting families to strengthen our hunting community and hunting tradition. Help us protect our tradition as hunters now to secure the hunting future for our children and grandchildren.

Click on our Projects page to see what's happening and what you can do to help build, strengthen and maintain our hunting community.
